²⁷ Next to them, the people of Tekoa [v. 5] repaired ·the wall [another section] from the great ·tower that extends from the palace [projecting/protruding tower] to the wall of Ophel.

²⁸ The priests made repairs above the Horse Gate, each working ·in front of [across from] his own house. ²⁹ Next to them, Zadok son of Immer made repairs across from his own house. Next to him, Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, the guard of the East Gate, made repairs.
